The HTC HD Mini is quad band device with 3G, GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v2.1 (with A2DP) and micro USB v2.0 connectivity. It's powered by the Qualcomm 7227 600 Mhz processor running the Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5.3. Professional OS with 384 MB internal memory with extended memory support up to 16 GB with a microSD card.

The HTC HD Mini mobile phone has a 3.2 inch TFT touchscreen display (320 × 480 pixels and 65000 colours) with Sense User Interface, multi touch support, accelerometer sensor for auto rotate and proximity sensor for auto turn off. HTC Sense is a user experience focused on putting people at the centre by making the phone work in a more simple and natural way. It helps you stay close to the important friends and colleagues in your life by providing a single contact view that displays individual communication snapshots of your conversations, regardless of whether it was a call, text, status update or email. HTC's Windows-based Twitter application, HTC Peep, enables you to tweet and follow your twitter stream.

Other features of the HTC HD Mini mobile phone include: vibrate alert, MP3 ringtones, WAV ringtones, speakerphone, 3.5 mm audio jack, 5 megapixel digital camera (with autofocus), HTML web browser, stereo FM radio with RDS, games, GPS receiver (with A-GPS support), digital compass, music player (supports MP3, AAC+, WAV and WMA9 formats), video player (supports MP4, H.263, H.264, WMV9 and DivX formats), plus Facebook, Flickr, Twitter applications.

The HTC HD Mini is 103 × 57.7 × 11.7 mm, weighing 110 grams. It supports a stand-by time of up to 340 hours, talk time of up to 435 minutes, video playback time of up to 8 hours and a music playback time of up to 12 hours.
